With the help of a PhaseSpace motion capture system, Bot & Dolly trains industrial mechanical arms to become creative robots. These robots have been used for a variety of artistic purposes, such as painting, performance art, and cinematography.
Ballet Meets Robotics is a unique usage of motion capture, robotics, and ballet. The dancers performed their choreography in motion capture suits. That data was then given to the robot arm with a camera attached to optimally capture the dance.
Box is similar in that motion capture is used to optimize filming of the meshing of robotics, 3D projection mapping, and human movement.
